Amerigo Vespucci World Tour

Vespucci Meets... the city of Darwin - Fanfare concert & Villaggio Italia

In an incredible stroke of luck, Darwin is on the map of the iconic Amerigo Vespucci 20-month world tour, visiting over 30 ports in all 5 continents. This is their only stop in Australia, don't miss your chance to go onboard this historic vessel originally launched in 1931, and proud ambassador of Italian excellence in the world.

Primarily used as training ship for cadets, in the last 30 years the Vespucci has been employed in the safeguard of the environment and marine ecosystems, cooperating with associations like UNICEF, WWF and Marevivo.
