Bay sizes have been reduced on levels 1-3 of the Multi-storey carpark to encourage free flow of traffic in both directions and increase pedestrian safety.
As of March 1st 2023, vehicles must be parked behind the yellow line within marked bays.

Parking for large SUV, 4WD and Utility vehicles remains available from level 4 and above.
All on-street parking meters at the Darwin Waterfront are cashless and issue digital (paperless) parking sessions.

Parking fees do not apply for on-street car parks on weekdays outside of 8am-5pm and on weekends. Parking continues to be monitored on weekends and parking infringements will apply to vehicles that park illegally.
Any issues with the parking meters must be reported to the Darwin Waterfront Corporation by calling 8999 5155 prior to leaving your vehicle. This phone number is also available on all parking meters. Users must then purchase a valid parking ticket at the next nearest available parking meter.

Free parking is available at Stokes Hill Wharf with a valid ticket displayed on your vehicle dash (applicable 24 hrs/7 days a week).
Tickets are free from the parking stations (at each end of the carpark) and valid for a maximum of 3 hours only, per visit.
There are fewer car parks during lunch and dinner, so try the Stokes Hill Road Off Street Carpark advertised on this page (500m from the Wharf) which is also perfect for stays longer than 3 hours.
The
Free Waterfront Shuttle Bus operates from 11.30am to 2pm and 4pm to 9pm daily and connects Stokes Hill Wharf to various locations around the Darwin Waterfront.

The porte cochere at the front of the centre is a drop-off point only, and parking in this area is restricted to Darwin Convention Centre clients.
The Convention Centre’s basement car park is open 24 hours and charged at a flat rate of $5 per day.
If you’re parking at the Darwin Waterfront Precinct overnight, this car park is an affordable option at $10 (charging $5 per day).

There is free all-day parking for motorcycles and scooters in designated motorcycle bays on Kitchener Drive (14 spaces), Stokes Hill Road car park A (4 spaces) and Stokes Hill Wharf (8 spaces).
Motorcycles and scooters can also park at the Darwin Convention Centre basement car park, where normal charges apply for both.
