Walk for a Bloke is a unique charity event organised by Spoke to a Bloke Inc. and focusing on raising awareness and much needed funds for men's mental health.
This event is taking place on 22 March in multiple locations in Australia and overseas, and acts as a form of preventative care, encouraging physical activity while creating opportunities for mateship and a safe space where blokes can openly share, listen, and support each other.
The walk is as much about connection and building resilience as it is about the distance covered (25km). Darwin's route will be a 5km loop around the Waterfront and the City, with a refreshment station/check point at the start/finish line.
Friends and family are encouraged to join at the pitstop for support or at Fiddlers Green at the end to celebrate your achievements.
While we recognise the importance mums, wives, sisters and friends play in our lives, this walk is for blokes only.
